What does the Gilded Lifetime Warranty cover?

Every Gilded MCR product comes with a Lifetime Warranty, not that we won't say that nothing won't happen to your belongings. Whether it's an emergency, something happening for the first time, or something that developed over time, we'll take care of it. Simply send us a photo of the item and your contact information (including the number you need) and we'll arrange for a replacement or store credit. No questions asked - we just want to make sure you're happy with your purchase!

Can I get my Gilded pieces wet?

We've assured that our products are made from the loftiest quality and utmost durable accoutrements. Our chains are waterproof but like all precious essence, to maintain our pieces for a longer lifetime, you'll want to keep it from any harsh chemicals. We do recommend that you dry your item as soon as possible using a cloth kerchief after getting wet. Every single Gilded product is waterproof, sweat- evidence and heatproof.

Are they safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, all our products are hypoallergenic. You can wear your Gilded pieces24/7, and no way have to worry about developing a rash or green skin. Our products don't contain nickel.

When will you be restocking an item that's out of stock?

We restock items frequently, but we recommend that you sign up to our emails for product stock notifications so you can be notified as soon as it arrives back in stock.

What are Gilded pieces made from?

Each of our products are made of premium 316L stainless steel with rhodium/18k gold plating. Our jewellery is the best in water, it is sweat resistant, so there is no discolouring or tarnishing. It's also hypoallergenic which means no green skin, as it does not contain nickel.

Please note that it is advised to remove your GILDED piece before entering a sauna or steam room due to extremely high temperatures.

How are Gilded pieces packaged?

Each chains is delivered to you in a small branded Gilded dust bag to ensure it arrives in a perfect condition, within an outer cotton, reusable drawstring bag that you can store your pieces in.

Orders & Shipping

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order has been despatched from us, you will be notified via email and SMS. This will provide you with your courier tracking link. It may take up to 1-3 days for the courier to update it's tracking with relative information on the whereabouts of your order not including weekends or holidays.

If you haven't received your tracking number after 48 hours from purchase, please contact our support team at info@gildedmcr.com

Can I change the style, colour or size of a purchased product after an order is placed?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact info@gildedmcr.com immediately after purchase during the hours of 9:00 - 17:00 (GMT) for the best chance of us catching the order before it has began the despatch process.

Unfortunately, once your order has been processed by us, we are unable to make any changes or cancellations. Most orders are shipped within 12 hours. In the case that we're unable to amend your order, we ask that you please wait until the order arrives and follow the normal return policy procedure. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide and use a variety of couriers selected specifically for the fastest delivery speed possible at the most reasonable prices. Please keep in mind that international orders are subject to courier delays and may take slightly longer to get to the delivery address.

Can I ship an order to a P.O. box?

Of course, we do allow shipping to PO boxes, simply enter the PO Box details at the delivery stage of our checkout. 

EU Customs Charges

How do we pay for your customs charge?

You shouldn't be charged customs but if you are, it couldn't be easier, simply drop us an email at info@gildedmcr.com. Use the Subject Line: "EU Customs Charge", so our expert customer support team can find you in our system.

In the email you will need to provide 2 things:

1) Your order number (you'll find this in the order confirmation email we sent you after purchase)

2) A payment link from your local courier (so that we can pay this directly)

In the event that you pay for the customs charge yourself, please let us know so that we can reimburse you.

If your local courier decides to send your order back to our warehouse, we will notify you via email to inform you of the next steps needed to get your order back out to you.

United Kingdom & Northern Ireland

UK orders are shipped directly from our UK warehouse within 24-48 hours of the order being placed. The estimated shipping time begins from the day your order has been despatched.

Orders received on weekdays before 12pm GMT will be shipped out the same day and orders placed over the weekend will be shipped out on Monday.

Returns

Returns Policy

Here at Gilded, offering the best customer satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the product/s you have received, we will happily issue a refund (for the value of the product purchased, not the postage fees), exchange or Gilded store credit for the returned items within 30 days of delivery. 

All returns and exchanges must be made via our online portal in order to be accepted. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by its original packaging and unaltered, unworn and in a re-sellable condition to qualify for a refund.

Items received after our 30 day returns period will not be accepted if you requested a refund. Instead, you will be provided with a CRAFTD store credit code for the value of the returned item.

Refunds on item/s returned after the 30 day window will not be honoured. 

We currently do not provide free returns labels, you will be responsible for the return postage on your return/s. We require that you purchase a tracked service for you return in the event that your return gets lost in transit.

Returned items remain your responsibility until they arrive back at our facility. Please ensure that you obtain proof of postage from the courier, in case you need to contact us or in the even that your return is lost in transit.

If your order has been lost in transit, without sufficient proof of postage, we will not be able to process any return requests. However, if you are able to provide a postage receipt or a tracking number for your return, we'll provide you with GILDED store credit.

How do I start a return?

What's the status of my exchange?

Your exchange request will be processed within 3-5 working days from the date that your return has been received back at our warehouse. Once your exchange has been processed and dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email which will contain your new tracking information.

How do I return a gift?

If possible, try to get the order number and shipping zip code from the person you received the gift from and then click our return portal to begin the return process.

Why isn't there a returns form with my order?

We're super conscious of the impact on our planet so we have made the decision to make our returns process completely paperless by ensuring that our returns are made entirely digital. This includes the removal of returns cards from GILDED orders.

How long is my return / exchange going to take?

As soon as we receive your returned item/s we will start to process your exchange within 3 -5 days. You will be notified via email and SMS that your return has been received.

How long does it take for my refund to be processed?

We aim to process your refund within 3-5 working days from receipt to our warehouse. 

After we have sent your refund you will receive an email notification. 

Please note it can take a further 7 working days for the funds to clear in your account. This processing time depends on your bank so please contact them directly if 7 working days have passed and you have not received the funds.

Do I have to pay for a return?

We currently do not provide 'free' returns, instead we ship your exchange item back out to you completely free of charge. We do not provide refunds on postage costs originally paid when you ordered.

My return hasn't been received?

Not to worry! Sometimes the courier may misplace orders / returns but as long as you can provide a receipt for the postage you paid to return your item/s back to us, we'll provide you with Gilded store credit. Without the postage receipt, we aren't able to process any return requests if the return has been lost in transit back to our warehouse.

Discount codes or store credit / gift cards cannot be applied after an order has been placed.
